Featured Project: Tracy's 40th Birthday Invitations
Posted by ashley mcneill on
As you know, inviting is not set up for foil stamping. If we had a second press, sure, but with only Vera... I'm not going to go back and forth with the set up. (I'm looking into tabletop options, but nothing just yet.) So, when your client's client is set on gold foil stamping and letterpress printing, if your designer client can hire one of her other preferred vendors to get the project started...
... we'll come in with the letterpress printing and edge painting to finish it off. And they look fantastic! We used our new neon pink ink (love!) and added a dab or two of another red to darken it to better match the pre-printed addresses on the envelopes.
Then we mixed a pink and a purple for the edge painting.
Paper: double thick, provided by designer
Ink: neon pink
Edge Painting: custom mix to match the neon pink
Gold Foiling: provided by designer
Designer: Nikki Williams of Elizabeth & Mae
Printing for independent designers is such fun. I'll be sharing more of the projects that we've done in the future.
Cheers!
